Congregation of Cultural Relics and Treasures - Preserve epigraphy, research on seal, while giving consideration to calligraphy and painting

Since its inception in 1904, Xiling Seal Engraver's Society has collected a large number of calligraphy and carving collection, which saves a number of important physical basis for the study of Chinese seal carving and history of the study of seal, fully reflecting the aim of the Society "Preserve epigraphy, research on the study of seal, while giving consideration to calligraphy and painting". The Society has China's only professional seal study museum, with its own storehouse for cultural relics where there are tens of thousands of pieces of cultural relics, including thousands of ancient seal objects and hundreds of ancient seal collection of impressions of seals by famous seal engravers, many of which are very precious unique ancient artworks.

Among the many collections, there are not only individual donations of the four founders Ding Fuzhi, Wang Ti, Ye Weiming and Wu Yin, but also many individual donations of seniors of the Society Zhang Lu'an, Gao Shifu, Ge Changying, Wu Dongmai, Wang Geyi and many other members donated in different periods of time. These precious cultural relics can be preserved to the present day, which is not just the accumulation of the century-old cultural relics in Xiling Seal Engraver's Society, but also the display of the unchanged style of scholarly research of the Society members.
